The Institute of Latin American Studies provides the editorial and administrative office for the Journal of Latin American Studies, which is published four times a year, in February, May, August and November, by Cambridge University Press.
Journal of Latin American Studies presents recent research in the field of Latin American studies in development studies, economics, geography, history, politics and international relations, public policy, sociology and social anthropology. Regular features include articles on contemporary themes, short thematic commentaries on key issues, and an extensive section of book reviews.
The editors are Gareth Jones (London School of Economics), Paulo Drinot (University College London), Sian Lazar (University of Cambridge) and Diego Sanchez-Ancochea (University of Oxford).
